YRF’s Aurangzeb had an average opening at the box office. The film could only manage a lukewarm response from its audiences on its first day. Going by the review from most critics and those who have seen the film, it suffers from the curse of a shabby second half.
Opening to low bracket at multiplexes, the movie will manage to soar only for its wonderful performances. The film began its journey at the box office with an income of 3.90 Crores, as per early estimates, at the Domestic Box Office.
The movie performed comparatively good in Delhi, UP and East Punjab circuits. Small Screens, as predicted, did a better business than the multiplexes.
Arjun Kapoor, whose last film Ishaqzaade earned him laurels from audiences and critics alike, doesn’t fail the expectations pinned on him however debutant Sasheh Agha will mostly be a disappointment acting wise! The film for its noteworthy star cast will manage to invite audiences over the weekend.
The film’s trailer had its audiences intrigued and now the release though dully received, will manage to improve over the weekend.
