Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell’s rom-com Anyone But You did surprisingly well at the box office, and it has achieved a new milestone with its current numbers. The film is inspired by William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing. The film came out in December last year, bringing the lost glory to the rom-com genre after several years. The film’s domestic collection currently stands at $87 million, and the film was made on a reported budget of $25 million. It has already earned over 500% higher than its production cost.

According to Variety’s report, Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell’s movie has achieved a new milestone by making $200 million at the worldwide box office. It is reportedly the highest-grossing rom-com in years, specifically in the post-covid era. Anyone But You has surpassed Goerge Clooney-Julia Roberts’ led ‘Ticket to Paradise’ released in 2022, and it made $168.76 million globally. It has also crossed Sandra Bullock-Channing Tatum starrer ‘The Lost City,’ also released in 2022, earning $192.90 million.
