Aashiqui 2 Is A Super-Hit | 2nd Weekend Box Office Collections

Aashiqui 2 floating amidst stiff competitors like Shootout At Wadala and the more ornately made Bombay Talkies, is still modestly maintaining its earnings. After completing its first week run at the Domestic Box Office, the film had earned 38.50 crores, which added a super sum of 7.50 crores more over the 2nd weekend. The film’s total collections by the end of its second weekend now rests at 46 crores.

Aashiqui 2 is now the second super hit of the year after the Prabhudeva starrer dance story ABCD – Any Body Can Dance. Aashiqui 2 on its second Friday earned 2 crores approximately while on Saturday its earnings increased to 2.5 crores and finally wound up its Sunday with a 3 crore nett amount.

The film made its actors Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor stars with the film’s success. Their lovable on screen chemistry ended up making the film thrive despite the lagging script.
