After making a 2.00 Crores business on its 1st Monday at the domestic box office, 1920 – Evil Returns saw a small drop of about 10% on Tuesday. Collecting 1.75 Crores on Tuesday, the movie now stands at 15.75 Crores at the domestic box office.
It seems, the movie will surely touch 18 Crores nett in its 1st week. However, next week’s big releases Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son of Sardaar are sure to capture the box office. 1920 Evil Returns, thus, has about 1 week to make all the money it can.
Needless to say 1920 Evil Returns has proven to be one of the biggest surprises at the box office especially due to its production and marketing budget. The venture is sure to be a profitable one for both makers and distributors.
