The Desi Girl is back in the bay! Global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas is back in India and has been quite busy. The Citadel star landed for a luxury brand’s store launch with her daughter Malti Marie. She then announced her production house’s collaboration with Prime Video. Afterward, she headed to Ayodhya, where Nick Jonas talked about a whirlwind.
Priyanka, who is visiting India with her Malti Marie for the first time in the public eye, is her usual charming self with the media and the fans. The Quantico star was joined by her husband, Nick Jonas, soon after she announced her production houses’ collaboration with Prime Video.
A video of her visit to the iconic Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is going viral. Pictures and videos from her visit started circulating online as netizens also visited the temple and spotted her there. But one video that Priyanka put up herself is evoking wholesome reactions from people. In the video, her daughter Malti Marie, who recently turned two, tries to say ‘Ayodhya,’ but we can’t get enough of her cuteness.
Chopra-Jonas posted a bunch of pictures from the Ayodhya visit. This trip also marked the first visit of her daughter and husband, Malti and Nick, to the temple with her mother, Madhu Chopra.
Priyanka could not attend the temple’s inauguration a few months back because she was busy with work in the US. But fans are happy that the Barfi actress has returned after a while, especially with her daughter.
Priyanka and Nick Jonas welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie Jonas, through surrogacy in January 2022. The little one went through complications right after she was born, spending over 100 days in the NICU, but all was well, and she was brought home.
The other reason why Priyanka Chopra Jonas came back to India was to announce her show with Prime Video. Chopra’s association with Prime goes back to her show Citadel. At the recent Prime Video event, she announced that her production house, Purple Pebble Pictures, will produce a documentary series.
On Tuesday, Priyanka introduced the title Women of My Billion, an upcoming documentary narrating the true story of a woman’s journey from Kanyakumari to Kashmir to meet women who have faced violence. The documentary will stream on Prime Video after its theatrical release.
And in other work news, she recently announced her next Hollywood venture, The Bluff. Directed by Frank E Flowers, the movie will also feature The Boys star Karl Urban.
