The Dirty Picture Actor Arya Banerjee Found Dead In Her Kolkata Apartment

The year 2020 has been a tough one, and for Bollywood, it is the most tragic year the tinsel town has ever witnessed. As the sad turn of events unfolds one more time, Arya Banerjee, famous for her role in The Dirty Picture, has breathed her last. Banerjee was found dead in her apartment in Kolkata, and as per reports, she was covered with blood when her body was discovered. Read on to know all the details about the yet another tragic death.

Arya aka Devdatta Banerjee was the daughter of renowned sitar player Pandit Nikhil Banerjee. The actor made her acting debut with Love S*x Aur Dhokha. Later she made her way in Milan Lutharia directorial The Dirty Picture that starred Vidya Balan at the centre of it.

Arya Banerjee was found dead in her apartment in Jodhpur Complex, South Kolkata. As per a report in Times Of India, the maid was the one to raise the alarm. When Arya did not respond to her calls when she came for work, the maid informed local police. Later the report says that the police broke into her house and found Arya on her bed with her nose bleeding and vomiting.
