Tamasha: Deleted Scene Ft. Ranbir Kapoor in Laila Majnu’s ‘Majnu’ Mode Will Blow Your Mind

Imtiaz Ali is known for telling stories that will not only touch your heart, but leave you in tears. Tamasha (2015) is the best example of the same. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles, the film failed to make big numbers at the box office. But today, everyone has only good things to say about it.

From the characters, dialogues, situations, songs and sets, everything makes Tamasha a masterpiece. But it is not always possible for a director to show everything in just 2 hours. Tamasha is a story that can get various angles, but we got to see the one Imtiaz Ali chose to show us. There are many scenes he shot which people haven’t seen yet.

One such scene features Ranbir Kapoor’s character going in Majnu mode. This scene seems to be shot after Ved gets rejected by Tara. With long hair and rugged beard, Ranbir dances crazily in this deleted scene. This Tamasha scene reminds us of Avinash Tiwary’s Qais from Laila Majnu (2018).
