Sushant Singh Rajput is getting more complicated with each day. However, it feels that finally we’re moving forward and the truth is closer. The late actor’s father has lodged an FIR against ex-girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. As many as five IPC sections have been charged in the 6-page long complaint. Now, there have been new revelations in the case. Below are the details you need.
Sushant’s family lawyer, Vikas Singh has now put some serious allegations on Mumbai Police. He began with expressing disappointment over the way Rhea was investigated. But a twist came in when he alleged that Chakraborty has been getting help from the cops in Mumbai.
In a conversation with PTI, Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer said, “If she (Rhea Chakraborty) has moved the apex court, she should have filed a petition seeking CBI investigation. FIR is registered in Patna, now she has filed a petition in Supreme Court seeking stay and transfer of investigation to Mumbai. Isse jyada kya proof chahiye ki (what more proof is needed that) somebody in Mumbai Police is helping her.”
Meanwhile, a team of Bihar Police has reached Mumbai to carry out the investigation from their end. Yesterday, they had gone to Rhea Chakraborty’s house. However, rumours are rife that the actress is missing.
On the other hand, a report by DNA states that the team also recorded Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Mitu Singh’s statement. The report adds that the the officials have got some ‘sensational’ and ‘very serious’ information. However, the Mumbai Police was refrained from getting that information.
Today, it is likely that Ankita Lokhande’s statement may be recorded by the team. Ankita has reportedly already told the Police about text messages she and Sushant exchanged back in 2019. It was then when Sushant allegedly said he wanted to leave Rhea Chakraborty because she was harassing him.
Apart from that, Sushant’s cook is also likey to be questioned soon.
