Remo D’Souza is all set to take his dance passion to another level with the upcoming Street Dancer 3D, starring Varun Dhawan & Shraddha Kapoor in the lead. The trailer was unveiled a few days ago and hit the right chords with the audiences. But did you know Varun’s character, Sahej, was inspired by late YouTuber Danish Zehen? Below is all you need to know about it.
For the unversed, Danish Zehen was a sensation on social media and passed away in a tragic car accident in December 2018. Now, Varun Dhawan in his latest post has revealed to how Danish’s looks was the ultimate inspiration for his character, Sahej, and how the team managed to nail it.
Varun took to his Twitter to share a photo of Danish alongside a picture of his character. He wrote, “The handsome DANISH was the inspiration for SAHEJ’s look in #streetdancer. Danish is no more and is in a better place but is loved by so many so I thought I should share this so people should know that he even inspired us. @remodsouza sir suggested this and then we went for it”

Celebrity makeup artist Shaan Muttathil commented on Varun Dhawan’s post to express how much he was touched by the actor’s tribute to Danish. Shaan and Danish were close friends.
