Shahid Kapoor’s act in Udta Punjab as drug addict Tommy Singh left everyone stunned. It is cited as one of Kapoor’s best performances so far. When the film came out, everyone was raving about how he nailed the character and the intensity and craziness it required. However, his wife Mira Kapoor had a strange and shocking reaction.
The couple got married in 2014 and have two kids, Misha and Zain. In an interview with Vogue, Shahid and Mira revealed about their first meeting and told that they spoke for seven hours. “The only thought going through my mind was, ‘Here we are, sitting in this room on these two big sofas with nobody else around.. Are we even going to last 15 minutes?’”
Mira also revealed how their meeting was normal like any other meeting and said, “I’ve never been into movies, which I think was a good thing because following that first chat, when we actually got to know each other, it was for who we are…not for who others think we are.”
