YRF had recently witnessed a series of flops as Befikre, Meri Pyaari Bindu and Qaidi Band tanked at the box office. However, the production house is seen to be bailed by Salman Khan with the humungous success of Tiger Zinda Hai.

Despite starring Ranveer Singh in the lead, the much anticipated Befikre failed to live up to the expectations of the audience at the box office. Parineeti Chopra’s Meri Pyaari Bindu too failed to make a mark at the box office.

Qaidi Band which marked the debut of Aadar Jain amongst other newcomers tanked at the box office, prolonging the misfortune of the production house.

Interestingly, YRF’s last success Sultan which released in 2016 also starred Superstar Salman Khan.
Sultan starring Salman Khan turned out to be a blockbuster hit at the box office raking in over 420 crores in the domestic markets making the worldwide collection over 589 crores. Two years later, Salman Khan starrer Tiger Zinda Hai has already crossed 270 crores in the Indian markets.
Sequel to the 2012 romantic spy thriller Ek Tha Tiger. Tiger Zinda Hai, showcases Salman Khan in an action avatar taking forward the story of the Raw agent. After much anticipation, the action thriller has received humungous response making the film a blockbuster in its opening weekend itself.
