The trend of remakes is in a full swing in Bollywood, especially after the mega-success of Kabir Singh, producers are in a queue to bag the remake rights of down South outings. A few months ago, we learnt that Karan Johar has acquired the rights of Vijay Deverakonda’s Dear Comrade and the latest report suggests that the filmmaker is planning to buy the remake rights of another South film and in a mood to cast Ranbir Kapoor as a male lead.
Yes, you read that right! Karan Johar is planning to acquire the Hindi remake rights of the latest Telugu success, Bheeshma. Featuring Nithiin and Rashmika Mandanna, the film released on 21st February 2020. Upon its arrival, the film met positive critical reception and minted good moolah at the box office. Also, if all goes well, we might see Ranbir Kapoor reuniting with the maverick filmmaker after the success of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Meanwhile, recently Karan Johar sent a box full of ice cream as a “sweet” surprise for Kartik Aaryan. The actor joked that he would sell a scoop for over a whopping Rs 2,00,000.
Kartik on Sunday night took to Instagram, where he shared a video on receiving the box full of ice-cream.
