Miss World Bulgaria 2019, Margo Cooper, is a Bollywood buff. From Hema Malini’s “Seeta Aur Geeta” to Mithun Chakraborty’s “Disco Dancer” and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s “Umrao Jaan”, she has watched all the movies from 70s to the most recent ones. She called Hrithik Roshan “very handsome” and said she liked “Dhoom” only because of the actor.
Sharing names of her favourite movies and actors, she said, “I have watched most of old Bollywood movies like ‘Seeta Aur Geeta‘, ‘Disco Dancer‘ and almost all the movies with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, my favorite was ‘Umrao Jaan‘. Also, I liked ‘Dhoom’ because of Hrithik Roshan, I always thought he is very handsome. Big Bollywood stars are still very popular in Russia and every one knows Shahrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. I remember I was very impressed by one movie with Amitabh Bhachan about a deaf-blind girl. ‘Black’ is the name of the movie, it is a brilliant work.”

She said that she was raised in Russia and became familiar with Bollywood movies during childhood. She added, “Every Saturday on one channel they showed Bollywood movies. I have been always fascinated by all the songs and dances, and dramatic scenes of love.”

Margo also revealed that she would love to make an acting career in Bollywood. She said, “I always wanted to try myself specifically in Bollywood movies. I love to learn something new and for me it could be an awesome experience to be a part of the movies. I’m very excited to learn how to dance, to learn how to talk with just your eyes. I know it’s very competitive, but I’m a hard worker and love to learn.”
But what about the language barrier? “I definitely could learn Hindi, at least to be able to understand something and to talk. I like how it sounds. I don’t see it as a barrier and don’t want to limit myself because of this,” Margo signed off.
