Maharani 3 was released on March 7 on Sony LIV and has received mixed reviews. The political drama stars Huma Qureshi as Rani Bharti, Sohum Shah as Bheema Bharti, Amit Sial as Navin Kumar, Kani Kusruti as Kaveri Sridharan, Vineet Kumar as Gauri Shankar Pandey, Mohammad Aashique Hussain as Prem Kumar Chaubey, Anuja Sathe as Kirti Singh, Atul Tiwari as Governor Govardhan Daas, Dibyendu Bhattacharya as Martin Ekka and others.
The third season consists of 8 episodes of 45-50 minutes. Created by Subhash Kapoor, Saurabh Bhave has directed the third season. In Maharani Season 3, we see Rani Bharti’s fight for justice for herself and her late husband. The political games keep getting darker and twisted as no one wants to let go of the power. Maharani 3 Ending Explained
Navin Kumar is not pleased that Musafir Baitha has become the new Chief Minister of Bihar. The moment Musafir becomes the CM, Prem Kumar gets on his side. He informs the CM that Gauri Shankar Pandey provoked the Makhdoomabad Hooch tragedy. The cops arrest Pandey as the prime suspect in the tragedy.
To make things easier for Rani (Huma Qureshi), the women who helped her surrender themselves to the cops. Also, Navin Kumar threatens Musafir Baitha when he changes the ministers. In an unexpected twist, we learn that Rani’s party is on Baitha’s side. She tells Navin that the new DGP is going to look after Bheema Bharti’s murder case in which he is the prime suspect. She hands him a new file related to the case. So Navin can’t do anything to pressure the CM to resign from his position or even harm Rani anymore.
Navin is unhappy with Rani and Musafir’s political bond and complains to Governor Govardhan Daas. He wants the Governor to handle Musafir Baitha in his crooked ways. But even the Governor betrays Navin and shocks the entire state. He imposes Presidential Rule in the state. Thus, Musafir is no longer the CM. The cops also arrest Baitha for his wrongdoings.

Martin and Kirti try to warn the Governor to stop whatever he is doing in the last episode of Maharani 3. They tell Governor Daas that they have a prime witness who knows he is the one who got Kirti’s husband killed in a road accident. But the Governor doesn’t take anything seriously until Rani Bharti threatens him. With her clever tactics, Rani also gets Navin Kumar arrested. So everyone who was a major threat to Rani and her party is now in prison, except for the Governor.
When Rani meets Navin Kumar, Gauri Shankar Pandey and Musafir Baitha in the prison, she tells Navin that Kirti is the main witness in the Bheema Bharti murder case. So, nothing can save him anymore. Navin mocks her for taking the Governor’s help, who is also responsible for harming her late husband. Rani responds, saying that there’s a right time for everything. Suddenly, the jailers walk in, and they request Rani to leave as it’s not safe.
When Navin Kumar asks him what happened, the jailer informs that there’s Section 144 implemented in Bihar as the Governor has died due to a heart attack. Rani has a smile on her face, and while leaving, she tells Navin that it wasn’t a heart attack. Maharani 3 Episode 8 ends with Gauri Shankar Pandey telling others that Rani, a woman, will become the first PM from Bihar. The last shot is of Rani walking with pride and confidence in her eyes and body language as the public hails her.
Will There Be Maharani Season 4?
Maharani 3 answers every query that we have had since the first season. Rani Bharti has proven she can stand against these male political leaders. She also managed to get justice for her husband Bheema Bharti’s murder. Every person who was a significant threat to her is either in prison or dead. So, it’s highly unlikely that season 4 will happen. However, we will have to wait for the makers to confirm if there’s more to Rani Bharti’s story.
