As the controversy around the rape monologue in Kartik Aryaan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Panday’s ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ intensifies, actor John Abraham has broken his silence on the controversy and said that he cannot deal with adult humour.
John, who is gearing up for the release of his next Pagalpanti alongside Anil Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Arshad Warsi, and Ileana D’cruz has finally cleared the air around doing adult comedies. Speaking to Pinkvilla, John Abraham said, “I cannot deal with adult comedy. In Pagalpanti, it is a universal movie. You can target anyone, from the age of 5 to 80-90, there is nothing offensive in it. There is no bloodshed, the villains are cute, everything is very good and positive about the film. Subconsciously I don’t. I can’t do adult humour, so if anything it bothers me in a line and I feel it might be offensive as far as humour goes, I probably wouldn’t say it.”
