The Sultan of Bollywood Salman Khan has grabbed the top spot in the list of highest advance tax payers of 2016. Salman paid advance tax of 16 crores this year, while last year he had paid 11 crores.

The 50-year old actor has enjoyed a good year so far since his last release Sultan has made the business of 585 crores globally.
Actors Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan have tied at the 2nd place as both the actors paid 11 crores each. Ranbir Kapoor and Kapil Sharma grabbed the 4th and 5th position by paying 7.80 crores and 6.06 crores.
Other notable actor Aamir Khan, who didn’t have a release last year paid 3.70 crores as the advance tax.
