Amidst the lockdown, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Brahmastra has been making headlines for several reasons. According to the recent updates, director Ayan Mukerji has sent a huge chunk of footage to a team in London under secrecy to get the special effects done. The filmmaker is hoping to meet the deadline as the film now has been in the making for over 2 years.
According to the reports, Ayan Mukerji in a trial to meet the deadline for Brahmastra, has brought a London based studio on board to do the special effects of the film. Meanwhile, the makers also understand the risk of sharing the footage and the danger of it getting leaked. The team has been taking important precautions for the same.
A source close to the development told Mid-day, “A large portion of the footage has been sent to the London team so that it can begin working on the visual effects in this period. Aware that outsourcing the job and sharing the content can increase the risk of the film being leaked, Ayan wanted only a core team of experts working on it. The director handpicked a five-member team who are the only people in possession of the footage.”
