Joining in the list of Bollywood’s war drama, Bhuj: The Pride Of India, is one of the anticipated releases to look out for. Featuring Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Rana Daggubati and other notable names, the project shaped up swiftly, which was announced in March.
Bhuj has a backdrop of 1971 Indo-Pak war and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to pull off some raw action sequences. As per the report of Mumbai Mirror suggests, the National Award-winning action director Peter Hein, has joined the project in Gujarat for the next schedule.

A source close to the movie quotes, “Filming begins today in the Mandvi district where a larger than-life introductory scene with Ajay Devgn will be shot, followed by the action-packed finale featuring the actor who plays the central character. The shoot will continue for the next 20-25 days,” reports Mirror.

In the movie, Ajay Devgn will essay the role of Squadron Leader, Vijay Karnik, who was in-charge of the Bhuj airbase during the 1971 Indo-Pak war.
Considering the importance of high-end action scenes, the units from Bulgaria and Vietnam have boarded in India. “Ample time was invested in designing stunts. Peter and his team have been at work for almost three months now. Even Ajay is involved in the process,” adds the source.
After Gujarat, the shoot will take place in Lucknow, Hyderabad, Bhopal, Indore and also Mumbai.
