Post #MeToo, Anu Malik being reinstated as an Indian Idol judge by Sony TV has fumed all the row all over again. Soon after the promo by the channel was released, Sona Mohapatra, Neha Bhasin who accused Malik of sexually harassing them, came out in the open and slammed the makers for not taking a stand.

It was just a day before, when veteran singer Hema Sardesai came out in Anu Malik’s support when she said, “I mean it takes two hands to clap rite?” in a long social media post.

Soon after, Sona took to her Twitter and slammed the singer for her remarks as she wrote, “Somebody tell Ms Sardesai that yes, it takes two bodies to even get raped but that does not mean the person getting raped is to be blamed? Also, this is called victim shaming & it is the reason why minors, survivors & their families haven’t formally complained? Sick, Silly woman.”

Furtermore, it didn’t stop there. Mohapatra bashed Sony TV and Indian Idol makers for reinstating an individual accused of something so critical, and urged Smriti Irani to look into the scenario and help them.
