The streak of good news in Bollywood continues. Yesterday, we saw Akshay Kumar’s Laxmmi Bomb, Ajay Devgn’s Bhuj, Alia Bhatt’s Sadak 2 and 4 other films getting a digital release. Now, another happiness comes in the form of Sooryavanshi and Ranveer Singh’s 83. Both films will release in theatres. Below are all the details you need.
A while ago, PVR Cinemas made the big news. Taking to their official social media handle, they revealed the new releasing dates of Sooryavanshi and ’83. Amid the on-going pandemic, both the Reliance Entertainment productions had been heavily delayed. Fans have been more than anticipating the release of these films.
Now, official news comes in as the Akshay Kumar starrer will release on the occasion of Diwali. The film directed by Rohit Shetty stars Katrina Kaif as the leading lady. It is the 4th film in Shetty’s cop franchise. Previously, Ajay Devgn’s Singham, Singham Returns & Ranveer Singh’s 83 have been loved by audiences.
On the other hand, Ranveer Singh’s ’83 will now be releasing on Christmas, 2020. The film is based on the 1983 Cricket World Cup. India battled against West Indies and brought the massive trophy home. Ranveer will be portraying the captain Kapil Dev.

’83 will also witness Deepika Padukone play Ranveer Singh’s wife. She will be essaying Romi Dev in the film. The sports drama has been directed by Kabir Khan.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi was earlier planned for a release on March 24th. Ranveer Singh starrer was also slated for a 10th April release.
Unfortunately, the coronavirus pandemic hit the world and led the entire entertainment industry to be shut for several months. Things are eventually getting back to normalcy.
