And yet, despite proving her mantle as an actress over and over again, Bebo states that she is not paid as much as her male contemporaries.
And now, during a recent interaction, Kareena’s husband and actor Saif Ali Khan along with Ajay Devgn have opened up about what they think of Kareena Kapoor’s comments on pay parity in the industry that she made during the promotions of her latest release, Good Newwz.

Speaking to Pinkvilla, Saif & Ajay revealed some interesting facts. While Saif Ali Khan said, “I would say it is terribly unfair. They should get paid as much. I completely agree with her. I think the industry is very economically driven, so the people that pull at the box office get paid more, fair or unfair, it is like that.” Ajay Devgn was quick to add, “There are actors who are paid less than the girls.”

Finally, the Cocktail actor concluded saying, “If the females tomorrow make a film which is shouldered by them and pull them off, immediately their fee will go up.”
On the professional front, Saif Ali Khan and Ajay Devgn are currently on a promotional spree for their next outing, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. The film that is directed by Om Raut, is slated to release on the 10th of January, 2020. Tanhaji also features Kajol and Sharad Kelkar in pivotal roles.
