After a lukewarm season, the interval of Bigg Boss 20 has paused at an all-time high! While Salman Khan took a break from hosting duties, Rohit Shetty took over and had a brutal confrontation with everyone. People were already trying to understand the bond between Love Gill and Scout OP, and despite Salman Khan’s warning, they did not care to give two cents of feedback!
But Rohit Shetty decided to question them straightforwardly! However, the duo still looked unbothered until Scout OP’s girlfriend, Kashvi, took the stage and questioned their behavior! So far, so good! Rohit Shetty’s sharp, no-nonsense hosting style; laser-focused reality checks on fake alliances; and high-energy pacing kept contestants on their toes.
However, a glaring oversight in the episode’s closing minutes, where personal attacks and slut-shaming remarks directed at Love Gill went largely unaddressed, became a major problem! Just when it seemed like Rohit Shetty was delivering a flawless hosting masterclass, the episode took an uncomfortable turn during the final segment.

Rohit Shetty Brought Singham-Style Order To The House
Rohit Shetty walked onto the set as if he owned it. Bringing his signature director’s authority, he wasted no time on pleasantries. Across Episodes 48 and 49, he dismantled the contestants’ fake game plans. He called out groupism and gave much-needed reality checks to contestants. For 90% of the runtime, it felt like one of the most balanced, crisp, and impactful Weekend Ka Vaar episodes of Season 20.
The Turning Point: What Went Wrong In The Final 5 Minutes?
When Scout OP’s girlfriend Kashvi entered the episode, the tone shifted dramatically. A series of heated exchanges culminated in harsh, derogatory, and personal slut-shaming comments directed towards Love Gill. To the point that Kashvi questioned Scout OP’s behavior and his veiled dilemma; it looked sane! But then one statement changed it all! She told her partner, “Usne aapko manipulate karke trap kiya hai, aur aap phas gaye ho.”
Salman Khan Was Missed!
When Kashvi openly blamed Love Gill for Scout OP’s behavior, Love expected Scout to explain, which he didn’t. A woman was character assassinated on National TV, and none stood up for her. Neither the contestants nor the host! Whenever lines of personal decency, moral policing, or derogatory comments against women are crossed in the Bigg Boss house, Salman Khan is known for a fierce zero-tolerance policy!
While Rohit Shetty handled the game analysis and strategy checks, his hesitation to step in during those final 5 minutes allowed toxic personal mudslinging to slide past without a proper reprimand. Episodes 48 and 49 stand out as some of the most entertaining and tightly edited hours of Bigg Boss 20, proving that Rohit Shetty is a force as a guest host. However, by turning a blind eye to the personal attacks against Love Gill right before the closing credits, the episode left a sour taste in the mouth. It’s a great weekend watch for the game breakdown, but a reminder of why Salman Khan’s stern moral boundary is something that makes it all worth it!
