The spark is ought to happen when high octane bombastic beats have effortlessly gorgeous and hot looking actors (Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif) shaking their leg. This ensemble of music directors wrongs the adage “too many cooks spoil the broth” with each song of the movie making it to the chartbusters, we must say that this one sprung up a surprise package. From a fun Pajama party song ‘ABCD‘ and perfect beach party song ‘Sunny Sunny‘ to a soulful ‘Baarish‘ and soothing ‘Love Me Thoda Aur‘; the melancholy of ‘Muje Ishq Se‘ (female version of Baarish) and deep heart wrenching ‘Meri Maa‘ to perfectly balanced melody and pace of ‘Allah Waariyan‘. This youthful album beautifully brought up by many talents takes a spot in our list of nominations for best movie music 2014.
Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014)
The album has six tracks of which Saturday Saturday and Samjhawan are recreated. Daingad Daingad and D Se Dance have the desi flavor suitable for sangeet ceremonies. The fast paced ‘Lucky Tu Lucky Me‘ is an entertaining number and ‘Emotional Fool‘ is catchy and upbeat. Overall the album is a good mix of ‘Desi & Club’ numbers. Though nothing new but pretty enjoyable and so takes a spot in our list of nominations for best movie music2014.
Ragini MMS 2 (2014)
Baby Doll and Chaar Botal Vodka became humongous hits for Ragini MMS 2 and almost formed the complete album. The songs were instant hit and made it to chartbusters. And for the maddening response these tracks received, Ragini MMS 2 takes a place in our list of nominations for best movie music 2014.
