Mastram Trailer: After bringing a series of successful shows, MX Player is all set to stream an interesting series on the famous erotica writer of the 80s, Mastram. The series is based on the life of a struggling writer Rajaram who turns to writing adult fiction after facing rejection. Featuring Anshuman Jha in the titular role, Mastram the series is set in the 1980s.
The makers released the much awaited trailer of the series and it has all the masala and tempting visuals to attract the audience towards it. In the trailer, we see a struggling fiction writer Rajaram gets rejected by the publisher for writing a bland story and asks him to write something exciting. Later, he starts writing adult stories by the pen name of Mastram, which becomes a huge hit among the readers.

Though the story is set in the 1980s, the set up and the backdrop doesn’t seem very authentic to the era. However, the titillating visuals and dialogues give a fair idea about the adult content of the show. Interestingly, it’s the first time that an intimacy coordinator has been hired because of the intimate scenes in the web series.
