Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been headlining the news for a really long time now. Television’s favourite character Dayaben, played by Disha Vakani, decided to step down from the show two years ago and people have been missing her ever since. Disha, who had taken maternity leave, decided to spend more time with the family and keep work aside.
While the search for a new face to step in the shoes of Dayaben’s character is still on, we might get to see Dayaben’s mother in the show. Yes, the character whom we have only have heard on a call might actually appear on the show.
Well, it all starts with the previous episode where Jethalal is trying to find his father, who got lost in the city. Jethalal and friends set off to find him and fail to spot Bapu Ji anywhere, Meanwhile, Jethalal’s father is trying to find his way back home as well. He has lost his specks and cannot figure out where he is.

Bapu Ji gets into a lot of trouble and ends up meeting a person who is sufferer of hearing loss. Bapu Ji asks him to drop him to Gokuldham Society, but the person mistakes it for some other Gokuldham society and drops him off to Thane city. Lost and confused, Bapu Ji has no idea what to do.
