Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of Indian Television’s most loved sitcom. While new episodes of the show were on a standstill owing to the COVID-19 induced lockdown, fresh episodes have begun airing since the last few days.

But it is not just fresh episodes that have made us jump with joy. The cast of Taarak Mehta will soon see a new member, Navina Bole. The Ishqbaaz fame actress will be playing the role of Jethalal’s psychiatrist. Yes, you read that!

Now for those of you unversed, Jethalal has developed sleep issues. Navina is more than happy to resume shooting after taking a year-long maternity break. Speaking to ETimes, Navina said, “I will be seen consulting him. I have done the show before also. In fact every time I do the show, I play a doctor. Last time I was a fitness coach and this time I am a psychiatrist. It’s always a pleasure being associated with Taarak Mehta….It is a good, clean, entertaining show which has been doing so well. It was the best platform to return with.”
