Be it her controversial remarks on religion or her nude pictures, the actress has all the tricks in her bag to make sure she makes headlines. The former Bigg Boss contestant, recently landed herself in a legal soup as she posted a butt naked picture of herself bowing to ‘Om’ and said that she owes her orgasm to Om.
It is as weird and eccentric as it sounds and the actress’ post got reported into the cyber crime cell for offending religious sentiments. A person on Twitter informed that he has officially filed a complaint against Sofia Hayat for hurting religious sentiments with her post. Following this, the posts were apparently pulled down from her page by Instagram.
Speaking about the same with Times Of India, the actress said, “If you Google Kali Maa, you will find hundreds of pictures of her, nak*d…I took one of those pictures. A lot of people across the world follow me on social media and individuals who file such complaints are going to convey the message that Indians are backward and unintelligent. These people have no respect for Hinduism…they are just seeking publicity using my name. They don’t report hardcore pornography, but have an issue with my devotion.”
When asked if she does all of it to stay in the news, Sofia quips that people seek publicity only when they are looking for work in showbiz. She has been out of the industry for five years now and is not looking for any work.
Her post led to a barrage of nasty messages on her page. She says, “People are abusing me and issuing threats. If I were a man, no one would have had an issue. I plan to report each and everyone, who has used explicit language and threatened me, to Mumbai Police.”

On the professional front, the model turned actress has been a part of some B-Grade films and has not been active in the industry since 2017.
