Some parents are demanding to cancel Adult Swim’s hit show Rick and Morty following an old Dan Harmon video resurfacing which caused controversy in 2018. The comments and social media posts are flooded with #SaveTheChildren hashtag. While one may mistakenly see the posts and think the series is cancelled, but it’s not. Adult Swim still has six more seasons of Rick and Morty under the production.

The Rick And Morty creator drew ire once again on Thursday over a parody of Dexter that many deemed inappropriate because he simulates the rape of a baby doll. Dan Harmon had issued a public apology the first time #Savethechildren hashtag began to trend on social media. Parents outrage over the episode seems to be the latest attempt to cancel Rick And Morty once and for all.

Dan Harmon’s disturbing video, Daryl was a skit for a pilot that was supposed to be a spoof of Dexter, as reported by Deadline, which debuted in 2009 at a comedy sketch festival called Channel 101. The creator had apologized for the ‘distasteful’ video he made as part of a comedy festival. It saw Harmon delete his Twitter account when the decade-old clip surfaced.
