After 3 months, the shooting of Naagin 4 resumed in Mumbai. This supernatural drama by Ekta Kapoor stars Nia Sharma, Rashami Desai, and Vijayendra Kumeria. Sadly, during the lockdown, the makers decided to end this season soon.
Koimoi spoke to Naagin 4 actor Vijayendra Kumeria. We asked him about being on the sets after a long time and what has changed. He also talked about shooting with Nia Sharma and Rashami Desai. The actor also spoke about the show ending soon. Read the interview below:
How’s the experience of shooting Naagin 4 with Rashami Desai and Nia Sharma?
It’s a great experience working with both. They are good actors and have different personalities. Nia very naturally brings different energy in the scene. There are hardly any retakes when you are acting with her. Rashami’s expressions do wonders in every scene and she is so effortlessly good. Off-camera also both are lovely people and it’s fun to have them around.
How is the shooting of Naagin 4 going with all the precautions?
Utmost precautions are taken. Safety and hygiene are maintained on the sets. Everybody in the unit is aware of the guidelines and are being responsible. It gets a little difficult to shoot with less manpower and you miss the old times when we used to sit together during lunch breaks and share food, but it’s necessary for our own good. Back of your mind you always have this little fear and this little fear is required.
What should the audience expect about the story and their characters?
As we all know the show is concluding soon so, as the makers have said already, the viewers should expect a fantastic end. I expect the same.
What happened when you first met Rashami, Nia and others after such a long time?
We all were happy to see each other. But it was funny that instead of hugs we were doing namaste. But the rest is almost the same. We still enjoy doing good scenes and put in the same effort that we used to put in all our scenes and till the end, we will do that.
