Mother’s Day Special! From Mahhi Vij To Urvashi Dholakia, TV Beauties Share Their Real-Life Experiences (EXCLUSIVE)

On the occasion of Mother’s Day, several Bollywood as well as Television stars have been coming forward to express gratitude towards their mother. On the contrary, we thought why not get in touch with TV’s favourite real-life mothers and ask them to share their experiences? We got into a conversation with Urvashi Dholakia, Mahhi Vij and Sara Afreen Khan and below are the excerpts:
For the unversed, Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali welcomed their lil. munchkin Tara last year in August. When asked about the same, “My most memorable moment was the first time I held Tara! It was such an emotional moment that only I know, how much I was crying at that time. It was the thing I had always been waiting for!”, said Mahhi.
We also asked Urvashi Dholakia if there was a fear of becoming a mother, given the stereotypes that most actresses face, and struggle in marking a comeback.
To this, Urvashi Dholakia replied, “Of course it’s a transformation and how! I have always believed in the fact that when a child is born, a mother is born at the same time. That moment so much is going through your head, that it doesn’t matter whether you are an actor or not. A woman goes through change in her body, systematically, mentally, only she knows how! How strong a woman is to have that kind of transformation. The process Is so beautiful that there’s no fear.”
Sara Afreen Khan too had a beautiful message as she spoke about Mother’s Day. “I just feel everyday is a Mother’s day. It’s so beautiful and a gift from god in the form of a blessing. But let me tell you, my most memorable day was when my girl started crawling faster than my boy, in fact she started speaking faster. The first time she said ‘Mumma’ was amazing and she kept repeating it the whole day because she had learnt a new word. She said ‘Mumma Mumma’ and she specifically looked at me and said that. That’s the beauty of nature and it melted my heart.”
