Kasautii Zindagii Kay Is Indeed Ending; Parth Samthaan’s Return Rumours Untrue?

A lot is being speculated about Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Soon after Parth Samthaan’s return from COVID-19 recovery, rumours had it that he quit. Ever since, there have been rumours around a possible replacement. But it seems the makers have decided to indeed end the show by this year-end. Below is the scoop you need.
Several portals have been sharing their stories. A while ago, we heard about Parth being retained. The report stated that the actor has negotiated with the makers. Ekta Kapoor has resolved his concerns, including giving a higher remuneration. However, the slot time will change as Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2 will be getting the prime slot.
Now, another report suggests that Kasautii Zindagii Kay is indeed going off-air. The team has not been able to find a suitable replacement to Parth Samthaan. The cast members including Erica Fernandes and others have been informed about the same too.
A source close to Pinkvilla reveals it all as, “The makers and the channel were in talks with Parth Samthaan to retain him for a couple of months but Parth stood by his decision. He was supposed to end his contract with his last day being September 5.”
The Kasautii Zindagii Kay makers have asked Samthaan to give them a little time to shoot a proper ending of the show. “Since, a new face did not look like a possibility right now with so many change in faces already, the makers decided to pull off the show in the next two months and have asked Parth to shoot for small portions in between so that story reaches its conclusive end. Parth had agreed to give a couple of days in the next two months to fulfil his commitment to the show,” adds their source.
Fans will be upset if Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes’ show goes off-air. But there’s still a ray of hope as nothing is confirmed so far.
