Yeh Hai Mohabattein actor Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava got hitched in 2015. Their fans were elated and the first pictures of their wedding went viral in no time. The couple was expecting their first baby in 2018. Unfortunately, Ankita went through a miscarriage. The actress is now opening up about it all, and how trolls made things tougher for her.
Ankita shared a heartbreaking post on her Instagram. She revealed to how she was all happy and healthy during pregnancy. She had to fly to Thailand for a shoot and even got a heads up from her gynaecologist. However, she miscarried ‘just like that.’ Not only did it create a void in her and Karan’s life, but they cried every single night to sleep.
Talking about the tragic experience, Ankita Bhargava shared, “With no explanations and medical reasons found,lt was termed as an unfortunate incident! There was nothing wrong that I had done or there was nothing wrong with my body and most importantly there was nothing wrong with my unborn child too! Just that, My first child, Came into this world way too early to meet me! But I didn’t even get to see my baby’s face! We had prayed for that child! Prayed very hard!”
Ankita Bhargava also shared how she and husband Karan Patel dealt with the pain. “At first Karan and I didnt know how to cope with this pain.Cos there is no method to it! Our approach went against eachother.I wanted Him to be with me and face the pain together,He believed that my pain will intensify seeing his pain! So everytime we were together he would show me his normal side to make me feel lighter…. but that just made the both of us bottle up so much sadness individually! Until one day,l had to tell him in words, That i want us to hold each other and feel the pain TOGETHER! And we did!”
The most heartbreaking part came when she shared that the trolls told her that she ‘deserved it.’ Ankita wrote, “Within a week post my miscarriage for some godforsaken reason I was getting trolled by 6-7 handles. Things like how I deserved it, how Karan deserved it, how I will never have another baby… That I am a BANJH or incapable of bearing a child.”
