Kapil Sharma has been making a lot of headlines recently due to his professional life. He’s all set to entertain the audience with his new show, The Great Indian Kapil Show. The comedian has also reunited with Sunil Grover after six years. Sharma also made a special appearance in the recently released Crew, starring Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon.
Directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, Crew features Kapil Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh in a special cameo. In the heist comedy, Kapil plays Tabu’s husband and a chef. His brief appearances bring a smile to your face, and the actor-comedian plays quite an endearing character. On March 28, Kapil took to his Instagram page to share a video from the last day of his shoot.
In the video, Tabu, Rhea Kapoor, and other crew members bid farewell to the comedian on the sets. Kapil expresses his gratitude for making him a part of the movie and how much he enjoyed filming for those two days. He even pretends to wipe his tears, looks at the cake, and jokes, “Jitna role, utna chota cake” (The cake is as small as his role). Everyone starts laughing at his silly joke, especially his Crew co-star Tabu, who cannot control her infectious laugh.
The caption to Kapil Sharma’s post reads, “Thank you so much @anilskapoor @rheakapoor @ektarkapoor for making me a part of the #crew though it was a small journey but memorable,as I am sharing screen with my all time favorite @tabutiful ji my love n best wishes to the whole crew of the #crew releasing tomorrow.”

Fans of Kapil Sharma will not only see him on the big screen but also on their mobile phones and laptops. His Netflix series, The Great Indian Kapil Show, will stream its first episode on Saturday, March 30. The first guests of the comedy show are Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima. Kapil’s show also features Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharma, Krushna Abhishek, Rajiv Thakur and Archana Puran Singh. The episode will drop on the streaming platform at 8 pm.
