The biggest and only plus point in the show is Sunil Grover‘s return. The two reunited seven years after their infamous flight incident that led everything downhill, and Grover left the previous show. Now, Kapil is taking a sly dig at the fallout, with his new pictures creating a buzz.
The Great Indian Kapil Show switched gears and moved to Netflix after a successful TV run. Since the show’s debut, fans have expected a more significant return to laughter, but it seems to miss its mark. Some of the show’s most important cast members, like Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, and Archana Puran Singh have all returned, but the show is not getting the laughs it used to.
One of the significant shifts in Kapil Sharma‘s journey was when he made the headlines for a fallout with Sunil Grover. The infamous incident goes as follows: the team was flying together from a show, and things got heated. A drunk Sharma got in a physical brawl with Sunil. The Bharat actor abruptly left the show and did not discuss the incident. Since then, fans have been waiting to see him back on the show.
Kapil Sharma seemed to poke fun at the incident 7 Years later when he posted a picture with Grover in a plane flying off somewhere. He captioned the photo, “Don’t worry guys, it’s a small flight.”

Grover received much acclaim and love for his characters, such as Dr. Mashoor Gulati and Guthi. Now that he has reunited with Kapil, he is the only one holding down the fort for the show. The Netflix show has not picked up as quickly as the Makers hoped.
However, with more episodes and more high-profile guests lined up, the show could still pick up. If it fails to do so, the show’s fate can hang in the balance, especially if the viewers get bored with the concept and feel disconnected.
