Big Brother’s All-Stars premiered last night (Wednesday) and it was filled with some amazing twists. The 20th anniversary season revealed and introduced its cast live as the houseguests moved in. The competition started immediately as they had to start playing for the chance to compete for Head of Household.
The house members including past winners and two-time players, as well as some contestants who left a lasting impression during their time earlier. Several are married to fellow Big Brother alums, but they’re leaving their spouses behind.
Host Julie Chen said that all contestants had been tested for COVID-19 multiple times and cleared to enter the house. As they entered they had to keep masks on but once inside and fully isolated from the outside world, they could remove the masks and begin playing the game.
This season of Bg Brother house guests are David Alexander (Season 21), Memphis Garrett (Season 10), Cody Calafiore (Season 16), Kaysar Ridha (Season 6 & the first season of All-Stars) and Keesha Smith (Season 10), Nicole Anthony (Season 21). The inmates also include Bayleigh Dayton (Season 20), Janelle Pierzina (Season 6, 14 & the first All-Stars season), Enzo Palumbo (Season 12), Kevin Campbell (Season 11), Ian Terry (Season 14) as well as Tyler Crispen (Season 20), Christmas Abbott (Season 19), Da’Vonne Rogers (Season 17 & 18), Dani Donato-Briones (Season 8 & 13) and Nicole Franzel ( Season 16 & 18).
Big Brother started with a bang where the houseguests were made to play giant versions of the game where you have to get balls into specific holes in a maze. The winners of the game were Christmas, Ian, Kevin, Nicole Anthony, Memphis and Cody. They had three minutes at max to get through a course of steps, some of which were solid, and some of which were not. Cody very quickly set a leading time of just over 22 seconds, leaving the others behind.
Before the episode ended, Julie had a couple of twists to unveil.
As the Head of Household competitors were eliminated, they each took an envelope. Christmas won $5,000 in her envelope, while the others were all deemed Have Nots, so they have to take cold showers, eat slop, and sleep in the worst bedroom for the week. They were told they had to crawl into their room and the door wouldn’t open. We will have to wait to see them truly find out how horrible it is behind the door next time.
Julie also revealed that new rooms will be revealed during the course of the show. The first one will be called the Safety Suite, and apparently, it can save two houseguests from the first eviction.
