A report by OTT Play states that the makers plan to release the film in Telugu and Hindi versions. The movie is already doing great in two states, and now they want to cover the North Indian belt. The report mentions that as the survival thriller deals with the themes of friendship, it might work well in the northern states.

Another reason the makers of Manjummel Boys want to release the film in Telugu and Hindi is the success of Premalu’s Telugu version. Recently, a success event was held for the Girish A.D. directorial, a romantic comedy that stars Mamitha Baiju and Naslen K Gafoor.

So far, there is no update on when the film will release in Telugu and Hindi versions. But considering the hype is incredible for the film currently, it might happen anything soon. It’s good news for movie lovers looking forward to watching the Chidambaram directorial. After all, watching it on the big screen will also be a memorable experience.

A previous report stated that the movie is not releasing anytime soon on any streaming platform because the makers haven’t gotten a good deal yet. A trade analyst named Sreedhar Pillai posted on X (formerly Twitter) that there are no takers for the OTT rights of Manjummel Boys. The producers demand 20 crores, but the highest offer they have received is 10.5 crore in all languages.

If Manjummel Boys indeed releases in Hindi and Telugu, there might be hope for the film to arrive on a streaming platform soon.
