Xavier Ortiz, a former member of the popular musical group Garibaldi, passed away on September 7. The singer was 48 when he committed suicide. Ortiz’s former partner, Sergio Mayer Breton, shared the sad news on Twitter.

Ortiz has worked as an actor in both TV and film, he last appeared screen as Romero on the TV series The Noir Bizarre.
