Selena Gomez is an all-time favourite for many. And the simplest proof of it is her massive 188 million following on Instagram. In fact, most celebrities across the world follow the pop sensation too. Her innocence, emotional tracks as well as fashion sense is noteworthy. But there was a time when Italian designer Stefano Gabbana had a different take. The controversy began when he shared it out in public.

The controversy took place back in 2018. Leading digital content brand The Catwalk Italia shared a collage of Selena’s outfits. All of them were in the red. From the plunging neckline pieces to the maxi dress, the Rare singer looked drop-dead gorgeous in each one of the outfits. However, Stefano did not like any of the looks.

The Instagram post asked fans to pick up their favourite Selena Gomez outfit out of the 4 options. “#selenagomez rocks red dresses ❤️ Choose your fave: 1,2,3,4 or 5? #tcicolor,” read the caption of the post. The Italian designer took to the comments section and wrote, “È proprio brutta!!!”
