Salma Hayek is a famous actress in Hollywood who has done fantastic work over the years. She is known for her love of animals and is associated with humanitarian work. The actress has a daughter with husband with husband François-Henri Pinault, named Valentina. She is the stepmom to Pinault’s three kids, François, Mathilde, and Augustin, from his previous relationships. She is compassionate and recently marked her stepdaughter Mathilda’s 23rd birthday with a sweet Instagram post on 20th February. She posted two pictures – in one of them, Hayek is posing with her, seemingly on a yacht, and they both sported sunglasses, with the blue ocean water in the backdrop.
In the other picture, Mathilda posed with Salma Hayek’s husband, François-Henri Pinault. The two were all smiles with her arm around Pinault. Salma wrote in the caption, “Happy Birthday Tildie Tildie Tildie, we love you and are so proud of the woman you’ve become.” She added a heart emoji and tagged Mathilda on the post.
Mathilda looks pretty comfortable with Salma Hayek, maybe because of her warm self. As per Showbiz Cheatsheet, at the UNICEF’s annual ball in 2018, Hayek recalled the incident of breastfeeding another woman’s child. She went to Sierra Leone many years before that with the organization where this particular incident took place. Describing the incident, she said, “This 15-year-old girl is sobbing and shaking with a newborn baby, and she said, ‘Please help me. I need milk.”
The Eternals star continued, “We had so many things, but we didn’t have milk, except I remembered that I had milk because I was weaning my daughter. I just weaned my daughter from breastfeeding not long ago, and I said, ‘I got milk.…’ I sat down, and I breastfed this baby. You should have seen his eyes. When he felt the nourishment, he immediately stopped crying.” However, her publicist asked the organization not to release the pictures of Hayek breastfeeding the child.
Salma Hayek did permit the photo to be used in promotional stuff about breastfeeding in Africa a few years later. In another interview previously, the actress shared how much she loved being a mother and had never been away from her daughter for more than a week. She admitted that she likes being an actor.
