Daniel Craig is one of the most-loved actors of Hollywood who has garnered a huge fan base over the years. He is mainly recognized for his work in the James Bond series and all the 007 films featuring him have made massive numbers at the box office. On the occasion of his birthday on March 2, 2022, we look at the time when Craig acknowledged the ‘misogynistic’ attitude that the character Bond reeks of and even highlighted how there is barely anything to learn from the man.

For the unversed, Daniel appeared as the secret agent 007 in over five movies- Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, Spectre, and No Time To Die. The last one was released in September last year and was heavily affected due to the pandemic and the subsequent lockdown imposed in most parts of the world.

In the year 2015, Daniel Craig was promoting his film Spectre when he opened up about the problematic qualities in the character James Bond. Speaking to Rudiger Sturm for The Red Bulletin, the actor highlighted how misogynistic Bond has always been. “Many men admire Bond for his way with the ladies. But let’s not forget that he’s actually a misogynist.”, Craig said.
