Life hasn’t been easy for Tom Holland’s Peter Parker. After fighting the mighty Thanos in Avengers: Endgame, he had to deal with the loss of Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr. The duo shared a close bond like a father-son. Along with the pain of his loss, he faced betrayal from Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio last year.
Well, that wasn’t enough too. In the end credits scene of Spider-Man: Far From Home, Mysterio accused Spidey of the attacks in London and also revealed his identity as Peter Parker to the world. Now everyone is waiting to know what’s going to happen in the third film. But looks like Tom Holland’s character is going to face a lot of challenges in future MCU films.
As reported by WeGotThisCovered, after fighting Thanos and Mysterio, Peter Parker will have to fight Daredevil. The two will start out butting heads to prove who’s better than whom until they work together and fight other bad guys. In comics also, the duo shared this kind of equation.
So it would be interesting to see Peter Parker and Matt Murdock aka Daredevil at loggerheads. Their fans will agree that both are good in their own ways. But seeing them fight off each other like Captain America and Iron Man did in Captain America: Civil War will be a thrilling experience. Looks like Tom Holland will have a lot going on in his upcoming Marvel films.
But, these are just rumours. MCU hasn’t confirmed anything yet. However, the idea sounds cool. In the end credits scene of Spider-Man: Far From Home, we got to see JK Simmons as J Jonah Jameson. He is also going to play a vital role in future Spidey films. Peter’s love story with MJ has just started and Mysterio has legit f*cked his life by revealing his identity. So many challenges and we’re confident that Tom Holland will handle them all.
