Amid rising allegations of toxic work environment and bullying by Ellen DeGeneres on the sets of ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’, yet another actress has come forward with similar allegations. Actress Emma Stone had made the allegations against the comedian.
Reportedly, the actress and actor Andrew Garfield had appeared as guests six years ago to promote their film Amazing Spider-Man 2. At that time both were dating and wanted to keep their relationship a secret from fans. However, some fans couldn’t help but notice their wonderful chemistry.
The daytime talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, during a segment, forced the couple to reveal their relationship to the public. However, Jamie Foxx, who was also on Ellen Show then urged the comedian to drop the topic, reports Meaww.com
In spite of Ellen forcing the couple, they refused to say anything at the time.
Over the past few months, the daytime talk show and its host landed in soup after many staff members made allegations of a toxic atmosphere on the sets. Crew members consisting of more than 30 people had accused top producers of ill-treatment on the sets.
The crew also alleged that The Ellen DeGeneres Show producers didn’t have proper communication with them about the status of their working hours, pay, or inquiries about their mental and physical health. Reportedly, the show is produced by a division of Warners Bros called Telepictures.
Another incident also reported when K-pop artist Psy appeared as a guest on the show. Apparently, Ellen forgot to introduce the Korean pop star to the audience and Britney Spears was also a guest at the show. He had come to the show to promote and perform his single, “Gangnam Style”. During a segment, the host had asked Psy to teach Britney Spears the steps of his hit number. At one point, he had to stop teaching and introduce himself to the audience.
