Rapper Mulatto is known for her bold fashion game. But recently, her outfit created a wave of anger amongst the netizens. The outfit had featured the picture of Hindu god Vishnu, which irked a lot of users on the internet.
Not just an outfit, but Mulatto even paired it with a necklace which had ‘S*X’ written on it. As soon as the pictures went viral, netizens trolled for hurting the sentiments of Hinduism’s followers. Some even went onto make nasty comments on her.
Now, finally, after the episode of some strong remarks, the rapper has tweeted an apology. She wrote, “I apologize to anyone I’ve offended by wearing an outfit featuring the Hindu god Vishnu. I honestly didn’t know the meaning or background behind what I was wearing and it was not my intention to disrespect the religion and cultural beliefs of others.”
