Mykki Blanco Blasts At Teyana Taylor For Not Paying Her For ‘WTP’, Latter Blames Kanye West

Twitter right now is witnessing a big fight between Teyana Taylor and Mykki Blanco. While, Blanco has accused Teyana of not paying her for a song titled WTP sung in 2018, the later has now pulled in Kanye West in the argument. According to Teyana, it’s Kanye who needs to answer this and not her. Below is all you need to know.
Mykki Blanco, in a very long Instagram post, accused Universal Music and Teyana Taylor of not paying her for a song sung 2 years ago. She also wrote her struggle in getting the credits for it.
“Can you believe it’s been two years and Universal Music has still not paid me my feature fee for this song? Can you believe it took 1 year with the help of my lawyer to get credited on the song, because it did. I wrote on and co- produced this track as well as writing the verse that [Kanye West] literally raps on ‘Hurry’. Is that a big accomplishment to write for other artists NO, this isn’t about clout,” Mykki Blanco wrote in the post.
Further, she accused Teyana Taylor and Universal Music of treating her with disrespect. She wrote, “WITH SO MUCH DISRESPECT, THEY HAVE TREATED ME BAD YALL… REALLY BAD, I HATE DOING THIS ON SOCIAL MEDIA BUT I HAVE HAD IT!!!!!” Check Mykki Blanco’s complete post below.
This reached Teyana who blasted at Mykki and told her to keep her out of this. And also advised that she should approach Kanye. She also accused Mykki Blanco that she is not naming Kanye West because he is a bigger star.
An excerpt from Teyana Taylor’s post read, “Mykki u wack for how u going out, cause YOU KNOW I have nothing to do with this & YOU KNOW I PERSONALLY made sure you was properly taken care on my end. … But I guess because Kanye is the bigger artist…. You save his a** because you don’t want the smoke from the man who took my original feature off to keep you on it without my approval.”
After a lot of to and fro and almost a Twitter war, concluding her stand Teyana Taylor in a tweet to Mykki Blanco said, “Sorry to burst ya bubble but FREE is actually KANYE’S management/team. FREE is on the good music side of things. U keep tryna blame my mom/manager for something she had nothing to do with but when she was made aware, she instantly worked to get the situation rectified for YOU.”
