Colman Domingo is known for his performances in Fear of the Walking Dead, Zola, and Euphoria. The actor’s name has been coming up to replace Jonathan Majors’s MCU character, Kang the Conqueror. There has been no official announcement from the studio’s side, but the actor has shared his elaborate take on the speculations. Scroll below to know.

Majors debuted his MCU feature as the time-traveling villain in last year’s Ant-Man 3. The film was released in February, and in March, he was arrested for assaulting and harassing his ex-girlfriend. He was found guilty during the trial and was immediately dropped by Disney from the part. Soon, fans started namedropping who they thought would be suitable for the role. For example, the fans suggested John David Washington and Will Smith‘s names, and industry scoopers claimed that Colman was being eyed by Marvel to replace Majors.

Colman Domingo recently sat for an interview with Vanity Fair, where he spoke about the Kang rumors, which spread like wildfire. He revealed that he was literally on his couch when these rumors started happening. He said, “You know, listen. My team has had conversations with Marvel about some aspect of the MCU for years. Do I know this to be true or not? I actually don’t know.”
