The 32-year-old had criticised the Sandy Hook shooting in Conneticut, where 20 children were shot dead in a school Dec 15 last year.
However, her flaunting a personal revolver on image sharing site Instagram Feb 2 attracted negative comments for Kim after she uploaded the picture, reports thesun.co.uk.
Kim removed the image shortly afterwards.
