Johnny Depp has been pretty consistent in hitting the headlines but for not-so-good reasons. Currently, he’s been indulged in a libel battle with News Group Newspapers over a story published in The Sun, which termed him a ‘wife-beater’ over his controversies with Amber Heard.
Johnny Depp went through the fifth day of his libel case in the High Court of London. During the latest testimony, the Fantastic Beasts actor made a shocking revelation in the court about his financial crisis. He also spilt the beans over his debt issues caused due to his former business managers.
As per the report in mirror.co.uk, Johnny Depp’s lawyer asked the amount he lost due to his business managers. Speaking about the same, Depp quoted, “It was put to me this way. It was put to me since Pirates II and III I had made – and it seems a ludicrous number – $650 million.”
