Johnny Depp Feared Being A Disappointment To Amber Heard As A Husband, Check Out LATEST Court Details

Actor Johnny Depp, who is facing his ex-wife Amber Heard in court, said that he was angry with himself when he got late to her birthday party. He said that on her 30th birthday in 2016, he reached late to the party. At the same time, Amber Heard claims that her ex-husband threw a champagne bottle at her. Depp denies this allegation.
The Pirates of the Caribbean actor has sued for libel against an article in the newspaper Sun. The article called him a “wife-beater”. The Sun maintains what it published.
In April 2018, journalist Dan Wootton wrote an article, which also talked about Johnny Depp’s casting in the film franchise the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
According to Depp’s lawyers, the article accused him of serious assaults and made “defamatory allegations of the utmost seriousness.”
London High Court was told about the birthday party incident on the fourth day of the legal proceedings.
Johnny Depp said that the reason he was late at the party was that he had gotten some bad news related to his finances. He also said that he went to bed to “to avoid any confrontation with Ms. Heard”.
Sasha Wass QC, who represents Sun publisher News Group Newspapers asked the actor if he was engrossed in a book while she said that he was not happy to be late to the party.
Johnny said, “I thought her behavior regarding the subject of my tardiness to her birthday dinner, I thought that it was too much… her anger, her rage… when I had been texting Ms. Heard, telling her, ‘I am so sorry, I’m going to be late.”
The lawyer also said that when Amber talked to Johnny about coming late to the party, which made the latter angry. In a rage, he left the bed to argue with her.
Sasha Wass said that Johnny Depp was, “very distressed about the news you had received and the last thing you wanted to be told was that you were a disappointment to your wife”.
Johnny Depp, replying to this, said, “I believe that’s the last thing any husband would want to hear.”
Sasha Wass also accused Ambe’s ex-husband of throwing a champagne bottle at her, which she luckily missed. He denied the accusation.
The publisher’s lawyer then said that Amber was grabbed by the hair and pushed onto the bed and, “when she tried to leave, you blocked the bedroom door and you tried to grab her hair.” She also said that an angry Depp “pushed her (Amber) to the ground” and “bumped her chest”. He then left an expletive birthday message before leaving the apartment.
The infamous ‘defecation incident’ was also discussed in the court. Sasha told Johnny Depp that, “it came to your attention the following, that was the day of Amber’s actual birthday, that the cleaner had found feces in the bed.”
Ms. Wass said that when the pictures were sent to Mr. Depp, he found them “hilarious” and that “there were jokes like… ‘Amber in the dumps’ going on.”
To this, Johnny said, “It was one of the most absurd, unexpected statements that I have ever witnessed in my life so, yes, initially I did laugh because it was so strange.”
Further, he said that it was “a mystery” who was behind the act of defecation, and “it was not left by a three or four-pound dog.” The statement referred to the couple’s pets, out of one who has “problems with her toilet habits”.
He also added that “I was convinced that it was either Ms. Heard herself or one of her cohort involved in leaving human feces on the bed.”
Talking to the court, he said that he believed that this incident was “a fitting end to the relationship”.
On Friday, Amber Heard’s allegations of sexual violence against her ex-husband were heard in private, undisclosed to the media or public.
The Sun’s website had published an article titled: “Gone Potty: How can JK Rowling be ‘genuinely happy’ casting wife-beater Johnny Depp in the new Fantastic Beasts film?” which resulted in the suing and the case.
The newspaper’s original article was related to Amber’s allegations.
Johnny Depp’s ex-partners, Vanessa Paradis and Winona Ryder are witnesses. They are to share evidence through video. The case hearing may last for three more weeks.
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard were married from 2015-2017.
