Industry scooper has now claimed that Hugh has allegedly agreed to be in Secret Wars, but he has a condition involving Tobey Maguire and Robert Downey Jr.
Hugh has been playing the role of Wolverine since 2000, and he retired from the character with 2017’s Logan. It is one of the highest-earning movies in this franchise of Hugh’s solo films based on the Marvel character. Now, according to scooper MyTimeToShineHello, Hugh has a condition if Marvel wants him to return for Avengers: Secret Wars.
The scooper wrote on their social media platform X, “Hugh Jackman told Marvel he will return for Secret Wars but only if he’ll get to interact with Tobey and RDJ.” It might seem wishful thinking, especially the return of Robert Downey Jr, as Kevin Feige had already mentioned that bringing his character back to life would insult Iron Man’s legacy.
Meanwhile, the return of Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man is comparitively less complicated, as we already saw his version of Spidey in No Way Home. Since the multiverse is wide open in the MCU, he can return in Avengers: Secret Wars alongside Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine.
