Jennifer Aniston rose to fame with popular sitcom FRIENDS. She played one of the most iconic characters of Rachel Green in the show and is still known for her wardrobe and hairdos. Apart from her FRIENDS character, her dating history with heartthrob, Brad Pitt, she’s also known for having a not-so-good relationship with her father as he walked out of the marriage and didn’t return for a long time.
Jennifer’s relationship with her mother, Nancy Dow also wasn’t that great but it worked out eventually. Jennifer, who has always maintained a distance with her father is trying to work things out with him amid the lockdown.
A source close to Daily Mail revealed, “Jen forgave her father for walking out a long time ago. But their relationship has had its ups and downs. Jennifer didn’t speak to him for ages. But since the coronavirus crisis she has been on the phone almost every day. And not just brief conversations. It’s like she has realized life is very short and she wants her relationship with John to be the best it can be. He’s thrilled that they have reconciled.”
Jennifer’s father was a huge TV opera star when he started dating Nancy and got married later. She was just 10-years-old when her dad abandoned her and walked out of the marriage. Recalling the memories once, Jen shared how her mother told her that her father is gone for a little while and will come back.
“Your father’s not going to be around here for a little while. She didn’t say he was gone forever. I don’t know if I blocked it, but I just remember sitting there, crying, not understanding that he was gone. I don’t know what I did later that night or the next day. I don’t remember anything other than it being odd that all of a sudden my father wasn’t there. And he was gone for a while,” Jen shared.
When her father didn’t return for a year, her mother Nancy revealed that she’s with someone else and has already married her. But over the years, Jen has always been there for her mother and the two have really worked on their strained relationship.
